yoga mats?

July 08, 2009

anyone know where i can find a thick yoga mat? i’m tired of the one i have b/c it is really thin….are there even any thick ones out there? if so, where????? please help!! thanks…

I just bought a thick one: Its a GAIAM one. Barnes and Noble has them and target. Just look at them and read the thickness grading. This one I got is twice as thick as my other one. My instructor told me you really don’t need to buy the super expensive ones as a beginner. Yogitoes has fabulous non stick towels you can put over top of your mat to reduce slipping and increase padding as well. Amazon has them.

Most sporting goods stores are carrying them now, but if you can’t find one… http://www.amazon.com is kind of awesome
