Read between the lines Food and drink products are all out to get you. They scream ‘Buy me! Buy me!’. It could be ‘fat free’ but it could still have a lot of calories. You need to analyze the nutrition label on the cover. The number one example of this is sodas. Find out what’s good for you and what isn’t. Knowing in advance can help you stay away from products that are calorie-enriched. Oh, and when shopping for groceries, avoid the aisles with cookies, frozen pizzas and ice-cream – it’s not the best place to test your will-power.
References :
Hey well you can do some push ups because they are good for cardio fitness, the best thing for cardio is running so maybe find a path or something but also swimming is a good work out but if your at the beach do exercises there because you would build 15% or muscle which would mean your card work would be easier, it sounds like what you do is still good but try running
Don't know if this is helpful :)
References :
I'm a personal trainer :)

What about saving your self the money and doing a few good old fashoned situps and crunches every day? In some case the fancy gym equipment it nice but the good old fashoned general daily activity outside and a few sit ups works well too
References :
Keep a journalIt helps to document what you eat. This way you can keep track and evaluate your eating habits at the end of each week. And if you’re a little more tech-savvy, then you could always maintain a weight-loss blog. Ask your dietician to look at your journal and suggest improvement points. I found it helpful to measure myself with a meter every morning. Every time I skipped dinner, my waist was a little bit smaller – and that’s what gave me the strength to get my appetite under control.
References :
I think what you want is a folding exercise mat.

Something like this one.

It depends if the wooden floor is polished or not. If it is not polished than the foam mat should be fine, however if the floor is polished I would suggest a rubber one. Rubber mats also tend to keep in better condition for longer too.
References :
Hi Meg,

Lay-down exercises often put a lot of pressure on the back, particularly the lower back. You may need a mat with thick cushioning, much more than what you see with regular yoga mats. Here are links to two examples of heavily cushioned mats: The Mat (http://bit.ly/bDgoGN) and Manduka Mat (http://bit.ly/ck4DKO). If the proper mat with the proper amount of cushioning is not helping your discomfort, discuss options with a yoga instructor, or go to your doctor or physical therapist to discuss what the problem may be.
